Let's talk about men.

Before the keynote: take a few quiet minutes in the chair.

2026 is an image economy. Every headshot, video call and stage is a first impression, and most of them happen on camera. Your profile photo meets people before you do, and your face on a video call is half the conversation.

Men rarely get looked after. They take care of the team, the deal, the family, and their own grooming and self-care comes last, if it makes the list at all. I see it in my chair before keynotes, campaigns and investor days. For the first time in a while, someone is taking care of him. It takes a minute. Then he relaxes, and by the time he stands up, he carries himself differently.

People read your face before you say a word. Don't be saying "We're ready" while your dark circles are saying "I'm exhausted." It isn't vanity. It's making sure how you look matches what you're saying. I always tell the fellas: image is a part of leadership. And frankly, this applies to the ladies too.‍ ‍You take care of everything else. Take care of you too.
