Makeup By Remi – Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Makeup By Remi. Please review the following prior to booking.

Booking & Deposits

Bookings are confirmed upon written approval and receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit.

One complimentary reschedule is permitted with at least 72 hours’ notice. Changes within 72 hours are subject to a $50 fee.

Cancellations

After confirmation: 50% fee

Within 24 hours: 100% fee

Multi-day bookings require 5 business days’ notice to avoid full charges.

Production Rates & Services

Production rates are determined by booking type, scope, and number of clients.

Private Clients

Each individual service is priced per person.

On-Set / Production Bookings

Day rates apply based on scope and call time. Additional talent, extended scope, or changes to agreed services may result in adjusted fees.

Additional looks or significant scope changes: subject to adjustment

Overtime is billed at 1.5x the hourly rate.

Assistants may be required for larger or more complex bookings.

Locations & Logistics

Multiple locations may incur additional fees.

On-site services outside of studio settings may include a location fee.

Kit fees may apply depending on the number of clients and scope.

Travel & Expenses

$500/day applies for travel or prep days without active service.

Clients are responsible for all approved travel-related expenses including transportation, accommodation, and rentals.

$50/day meal per diem per team member applies during travel assignments.

Timing & Wait Time

Billing begins at the agreed call time.

Delays, downtime, or pauses caused by production, client readiness, or on-set scheduling are billed at 1.5x the hourly rate.

Extended delays may impact scheduling and may require adjustment of service time or fees.

Preparation & Environment

To ensure the highest quality results, proper preparation and environment are required.

Hair Services

Hair must be clean and completely dry prior to arrival for all dry styling services.

The working environment must be free from excessive humidity, steam, or heat.

Makeup Services

Skin must be clean and free of any product prior to the appointment.

A clean, well-lit workspace must be provided.

If these conditions are not met, results (including finish and longevity) cannot be guaranteed. Additional prep time may incur fees and may impact timing and final results.

Proceeding with services under these conditions confirms acceptance of these limitations.

Payment Terms

Private clients: full payment due at time of service

Commercial / production clients: Net 30 unless otherwise agreed

Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo (3.8% fee), Wire ($35), Zelle.

Photography & Promotion

Behind-the-scenes content may be captured and used for portfolio and promotional purposes.

Clients may opt out of content use by providing written notice prior to the session.
