Losing & Letting Go

Olivia Nelson in Paris by Stefen Pompee

After losing over 10 years of images in February, I realized that letting go is about trusting my higher power, my creativity, and my ability to start over. The result? A future feels more exciting because it’s an opportunity to start fresh and refine my aesthetic.

Sometimes it’s not about holding on; it’s about resetting. Whether it’s your glam, your routine, or your creative work, starting over can be the most luxurious edit. Spring is inherently for soft resets and intentional energy.

Letting go doesn’t erase your work; it makes space for new ideas, sharper polish, and editorial presence that feels effortless yet intentional. For me, this became a quiet lesson in confidence: in the studio, on set, or on the street, beginning fresh can be the most powerful statement of all.
